He is my own horse and is perfect in temperament, heart, brains and beauty. As I write this it occurs to me that Colton is a seven year old gelding on the ranch and yet he is at the top of the list. I must remember the wonderful ones that romped before him and had steadier hooves along the trails. Pepsi for one and his mom. His mother saved my Fathers life in a snow storm many years ago in the woods behind our house. |

His talent and temperament match his Mother’s GiGi. She won the Futurities in California as a two year old. It takes heart, talent and disposition to achieve winning at that level. Was Libby's January 2002 colt. He was a challenge to train as a young weanling. Sam got over that real quick and made it to the Northwest Congress where he won medals in every class. He is the darling of the ranch now . In fact the picture on the information page is our littlle neighbor kissing him as a weanling. |
